Physical fitness is an important aspect in the daily lives of women in recovery. Mahala’s Hope residents have access to a variety of fitness classes, including yoga, kickboxing, and kettlebells. Certified fitness instructors help residents better their physical fitness, find new coping mechanisms, and improve their self confidence. Due to a recent grant from Agnesian HealthCare, we are able to continue to offer our residents fitness classes five days per week for the next two years. Mahala’s Hope is grateful for the partnership and support that Agnesian HealthCare continuously presents, which helps us give many residents a new start in life.
