What could be more appropriate in spring than garden “bling”? Recently, the residents pooled their talents and created a brightly-colored totem to grace the new addition’s garden.

They got their hands in the dirt (actually clay) and crafted various ceramic shapes … even a peace symbol! Color selection added another dimension. They were delighted to see how the drab clay pieces morphed into colorful gems.

Lastly, they assembled the pieces to form the totem. It’s a handcrafted gift to Mahala’s Hope. A little piece of themselves that they will leave for future residents and others to enjoy.
