Galina is our counselor aide who has been with us for almost five years. She moved to the US from Russia 16 years ago and decided to pursue a social work education. She received her BSW at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. She is very passionate about helping vulnerable populations. She is also very dedicated towards helping animals in need and is involved in various organizations that help animals. Galina also likes to explore other cultures of the world and enjoys traveling to different countries to archive this. Galina also translates for patients at Children’s Hospital. She enjoys doing henna and is very talented in this form of art. Galina firmly believes that if people can be helped with kindness and compassion and given important knowledge and skills, they will be able to achieve their goals and fulfill their dreams.
